FABRIC -
Instead of being boiled alive in the cocoon as happens in conventional silk production, the silkworm is given a choice to either re-enter the cocoon or to emerge from it, and when they do, their silk is harvested. Our Peace silk is made by farmers in Assam, India, who weave these fabrics on their own spinning wheels with environmentally friendly materials. Unlike most other types of silk that require heavy chemical processing, all our fabrics are earth-friendly and hand-processed.
The filling of the SWAY is 100% cotton made in USA.
CARE FOR PEACE SILK -
Hand wash separately in cool water.
Use natural soap.
Rinse in cold water.
Lay flat to air dry in the shade, away from the sun.
Straps can be ironed with medium heat.

Love this! I’ve been using a different silk hear less curl rod for over 2 years and I found it a bit uncomfortable to sleep with so I was only really curling my hair once or twice a week. This one is so comfortable to wear, I now curl my hair every day. I don’t like the ties that it came with, or the clip because I don’t use plastic or synthetics, but I had some silk scrunchies that I used to replace them and I use a couple Bobby pins to keep it in place at the top of my head.
Creates perfect curls that fall into pretty waves throughout the day! I have very fine straight hair and this is the only way to style it that lasts all day. Took a few tries to get it tight enough where it stayed in place all night. Almost dry/slightly damp hair is best.
I originally got the velvet curling ribbon but my hair is too fine so it would get tangled. The silk ribbon works much better. Love the color too!
