ABOUT THE FABRIC
peace silk is the most ethical and sustainable way to produce silk. The silkworm is given a choice to either re-enter the cocoon or to emerge from it, and when they do, the silk is harvested. Our Peace silk is made by farmers in Assam, India, who weave these fabrics on their own spinning wheels with environmentally friendly materials. Unlike most other types of silk that require heavy chemical processing, all our fabrics are earth-friendly and hand-processed.
CARE FOR PEACE SILK -
Hand wash separately in cool water. Use natural soap. Rinse in cold water. Lay flat to air dry in the shade, away from the sun. Can be iron in medium heat.
